Lothair
A kingdom located in the southwest corner of Ashes, also including the Island
of Kalair. This is a Loth kingdom, ruled by Orthallion Nightfly and his
wife Gavendra. Lothair is known for its beautiful cities and fantastic architecture. The most prestigious school is Ashes,
the Lothair Academy, is located on the Island of Kalair.
Cities and towns include: Korthin (capital), Taryn, Lyra, Hilot and Bonakan. Also the Island of Kalair.
Kamaria
Another Loth kingdom,
Kamaria is sandwiched between Lothair and Otora, with a southern coastline. Kamaria is ruled by Zarin of Sonsha, a cruel man
with six daughters. Ruler Zarin is said to have murdered all those in his path to the top.
The large magical center,
the Golden
Forest, is located in the west of Kamaria. Also, the famous Lonain Archives
are located in the City of Jayan.

inculde: Aiayana (capital), Jayan, Sarina, Sonsha, Daray and Keaverti.
Zaki
Zaki is the less powerful of the two vampire
kingdoms. It is located in the north of Ashes. Zaki's ruler, Danita Losolola, is the daughter of the feared Jaden the Cruel,
the vampire that rules Kyanos. The climate is usually cold, as Zaki sits between the Black Mountains and the Zaki
Mountains.
Cities and towns: Kanith, where Danita's court
is centered, and Nemeth, a fortified town on the coast overlooking Kyanos.
Kyanos
A powerful Vampire kingdom, ruled by Jaden of Lyl (Jaden the Cruel) for over 300 years. It is an island kingdom,
with one large island and one small. It is a very rocky and barren place, with poor weather conditions for most of the year.
Cities and towns: Kyanos City
(capitol), Lyrin, Lyl and Nol.
Kyanos
A powerful Vampire kingdom, ruled by Jaden of Lyl (Jaden the Cruel) for over 300 years. It is an island kingdom,

Charkatani
Territory
A section of land wedged between
Lecta, Kageri and the Zaki Mountains,
where the nomadic human tribes of the Charkatani live. The Charkatani segregate themselves from the outside world for the
most part, and they have no permanent towns or villages.
Lecta
A country in the northwest of Ashes, where the Shapeshifters rule. The country is unique in Ashes in that they
use a form of democracy to run their government. The current rulers are Mia and Marcus of Lecta, twins whose other shape is
that of a black panther.
Cities and towns include: Lia (capitol), Tree, Nayana, Xandra, and Kellata. Also the
Xandra Plains.
Kai Islands
The Kai Islands are
located in the southeast corner of Ashes, surrounded by the Ancient
Seas. The Kai tribes are made up of islanders with green eyes and fair
hair. There are twelve islands altogether, each with its own tribe. The islands are sandy, tropical places that stay warm
all year round.
Some of the known islands are: Hitar, Nayolo, Alesitol, and Tomasti.
Otora
The larger of the two human
kingdoms, Otora's inhabitants tend to have a very European background. Some areas refuse to believe in magic altogether, and
some even doubt the existence of the gods and goddesses!
Otora controls the largest coastline in Ashes, and therefore
fishing plays a large part in the kingdom's economy. Otora is ruled by King Karrick Tyrlison and Queen Callista of Acco.

and towns include: Kesari
City (capitol), Acco, The Four Valleys, Illiandra, Itara City, Nyota, Tanvi, Christie, Murali Island, Stranura
and Mechalli.
Kageri
A human kingdom that was formed in the year 937 of the Unicorn, when
the Kageri tribes merged under one leader. The kingdom is in the east, wedged between Otora and Zaki. The olive-skinned and
dark-haired Kagerians live mostly below the Kaga River, where they feel safer from the vampires in the north.
Kageri has a young
Queen, Arianna Lash of Aigriya. She is a descendant of Everard and Rathdi Lash, the brothers who united the Kageri tribes.

Catriona, Aigriya, Lydell and Conn. Also Draven's
Wood.
